Meet Rémy Rotenier
Rémy Rotenier sees jewelry as living sculptures and companions of our lives.
I am a third generation designer, the first in my family to work in jewelry.  My father designed Knockoff Hermes POP H Pendant outerwear, and my grandfather designed and manufactured lingerie.  While working for Cristofol, a workshop catering to the finest names in European high-end jewelry, I received my bachelor’s degree in jewelry design in Paris.  Later I received a graduate gemologist degree from the French Institute of Gemology (ING) in Paris and Diamond Grading with GIA in New York.
In 1990 I was approached by the head of design from Tiffany & Co. in New York who convinced me to become the third of their staff designers.  Five years later I moved to New Mexico, a land so different from any other place I had ever experienced, to become design director for Kabana.
Since 2006 I have been directing and managing Rémy Design, a premier destination for jewelry creations, designing collections, teaching rendering techniques in black and white and color, and custom designing for private clientele. I love teaching and have taught at design and jewelry schools across the country. Because I can get to every potential student and work with them directly, I developed two education DVD sets in 2015: Counter Sketching of Jewelry and Color Rendering of Jewelry. My new Advanced Jewelry Design DVD will be available in just a few months.
Although I have drawn fake cartier jewelry and painted all my life, only recently have I begun to exhibit my paintings and have received a few national and international awards for my miniatures. 17th century Dutch paintings serve as the inspiration for many of my paintings of flowers and jeweled creatures.
I now have a thrilling collection on Jewelry Television called Rémy Rotenier for Bella Luce, which makes some of my high-end creations available to a larger public. This is my first diamond simulant collection using my recently patented European style Rémy cut.
After years of developing designs and collections for many of the major design houses in Paris and the United States, I finally get to design this collection of accessible luxury which can be enjoyed by everyone.  For years I was designing anonymously but now I create these works just for shoppers; custom design for my favorite clients!
Each of my designs is pulled from where, I often don’t know, and for hours I make pencil sketches, pages and pages van cleef arpels replica jewelry of ideas from which I select a few to render in more detail.  The beauty of the world is my inspiration, from nature to Parisian architecture, from human emotions to stages in our lives, I notice everything and adapt it all into jewelry designs.
One of my favorite current pieces is the luxurious, eye popping created to celebrate my third anniversary with Bella Luce.  The Lady Luck design combines a spectacular, large Rémy cut™ Bella stone and a horseshoe expressing the luck we find in love.  I also felt very lucky to be able to design for you all these pieces that I dream of.  Blacksmithing was considered a lucky trade as they worked with fire and iron. . . a powerful combination.
For a long time I have been wanting to design simple and elegant studs using my Rémy cut™ stones. The refined and smart, are the result, with a 6.5 mm cut stone, the size of the ever-popular one carat diamond, a gorgeous and believable size for stud earrings.  These go with everything and are the perfect design to highlight the European inspired Rémy cut™.
I designed a sapphire classic ring that exudes confidence, and solidity with a simple and strong geometry.  I so loved wearing this ring that I soon created the ruby version.  The clean-lined were the result.  These rings are his and hers in either a calming blue, or strong, bold red.  These lab-created stones offer all the enjoyment that comes with owning a fantastic gemstone, at a fraction of the price.  The blue is the color of nobility, truth, sincerity and faithfulness.  I ordered the ruby version in my size so I could live with it for a while, and experience it myself. hermes jewelry replica  The red is so rich and alive under any light, that I might have to keep wearing it!
